Commercial Boat Safety Tip:

The Deck Attitude Controls System (DACS)

Question: Ever wondered how to address the large swell deck angle issue?
Solution: This video demonstrates the solution you seek for safer commercial boating via The Deck Attitude Controls System (DACS).

Nauti-Craft’s Deck Attitude Controls System (DACS) was developed to The Deck Attitude Controls System (DACS) was developed to address the large swell deck angle issue.

Our DACS performs better in lower frequency sea states rather than with high frequency chop.

Here are some simulation animations made using the WB18:
DACS in Hs 1.75m head seas (5.2sec period)
DACS in Hs 1.75m bow-quartering seas (5.2sec period)
DACS in Hs 1.75m beam seas (5.2sec period)
DACS in Hs 2m head seas (period = 5.4sec).

For the WB18, low-frequency swell is a more likely sea condition for DACS operation, since it will be operated in semi-deep water at a reasonable distance offshore.
